One Nation may not have a single policy regarding the broadband future of Australia, but that hasn’t stopped Pauline Hanson lobbying for a position on the Senate’s joint standing committee on the NBN. She lost a ballot yesterday for a position, but with discharge of National’s senator John Williams, her time has come.

Today, she was announced as an official member, reports ZDNet.

The committee is to be chaired by a member of the current government, with an opposition member standing as deputy. The committee itself has 17 members – pictured are the Senate members of the joint committee.

Looking over the policy positions of the One Nation party, I think we can assume there will be no concessions made to Sharia Law or Immigration in terms of NBN construction and rollout and yes I am just as confused as you.
